Five Dares: Eli Easton: out Oct. 2

Andy Tyler has been the class daredevil since middle school. Over the years, he’s convinced his best friend, Jake Masterson, to perform some dangerous-looking stunts with him. But the dare they attempt on the night of their college graduation goes sideways. The firecrackers explode too soon and both of them end up with badly burned palms.
But hey, nothing gets the “terrible duo” down for long, and they recuperate in style at Andy’s family cottage in Nantucket. As the weeks go by, both Andy and Jake grow frustrated over the inability to use their hands for all sorts of daily activities—including getting off. So Andy begins a new series of dares that don’t just cross the friendship line, they obliterate it.
But what might be mere sexual relief to Andy is serious business to Jake, who only recently got over years of secret pining for his straight best friend. Inevitably, the burns heal, summer ends, and hearts are broken. To fix things, Andy will have to face the greatest dare of all.

THIS ONE LOOKS AMAZING RIGHT?

Despite their age difference, the two become friends, and their long nights of soul-searching might help them find the courage to face their problems: Fred’s deteriorating relationship with his daughter and Callum’s career issues. It’s easy for their lives to tangle together, and each might provide the other the means to move beyond the past—even if it’s not a journey they can take together.

Improper Fraction: V.L. Locey: Out Oct. 18th:

During a family celebration the night before both young men were heading off for college, O’Malley joyously discovers that Garrison isn’t quite as straight as the star athlete had been pretending to be. Vows to return to each other quickly followed a few clumsy kisses in the old treehouse in the Rook’s backyard.

O’Malley came home to Garrison. Garrison never returned to O’Malley.

Four years later, the two ex-friends meet up at a summer camp where O’Malley is serving as a counselor. Garrison is desperate to make things right with his childhood friend, but can O’Malley, still nursing the pain and mistrust of Garrison’s betrayal, ever forgive or love Garrison again?

I LOVE ALL OF THIS AUTHORS WORK, AND I'M SURE I WILL LOVE THIS ONE TOO!

Deacon's Law: Hero's 3: by R.J. Scott: Out Oct. 18th

Undercover cop Deacon Shepherd lost everything trying to maintain his cover - the man he loved and the future he craved. He walked away and never looked back because it was the only way to keep Rafael alive.
The last thing he needs is to be dragged back in that world, but an attempt on Rafael's life is enough to make him risk his heart again.
Rafael 'Rafe' Ramirez wakes up in the hospital, the victim of a hit and run. He’s horrified when the first face he sees is that of the man who betrayed him and left him for dead three years before. Witness protection had stripped Rafe of his family and friends, and now it seems his sacrifice to bring his Uncle to justice was for nothing.
Someone wants Rafe dead, and the only way he can stay alive is to go with the murdering drug dealer who broke his heart. But how can he ever trust Deacon, and how can Deacon protect Rafe without falling in love all over again?

OH MAN, THIS IS GONNA BE AN EPIC READ FOR SURE!

P.S. by Caraway Carter: Out Oct. 26th

Looking back, it was kind of crazy to put a down payment on a fallen down train depot I'd never actually seen, in a state I'd never actually been to, and use it to build a life with a guy I'd never actually met, but love makes people do crazy things. If you've ever been in love, you know what I mean.

But before the plane had landed, I found out that Sam - the guy I'd met online and had been talking to for four years - wasn't really Sam. He wasn't even a guy.

I already own the little train depot, and I can't go back to my old life. And Fairville is such a lovely welcoming town. Did I mention James? He's made sure that I've had a really warm welcome.

All I want is to build a great little bookstore, and have a relationship based on humor, honesty, and hardbacks. I see some tough choices ahead of me.

Or maybe I don't have to choose...

DOESN'T THIS ONE SOUND AMAZING!

Disease: by Hans Hirschi: Out Oct 26th

When journalist Hunter MacIntyre is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's, he realizes that his life is about to change, not to mention that he's been handed a certain death sentence.

Alzheimer's is a disease affecting the patient's loved ones as much, if not more: Hunter's partner Ethan and their five-year-old daughter Amy. How will they react to, and deal with, Hunter's changing behavior, his memory lapses, and the consequences on their everyday lives?

Disease is a story of Alzheimer's, seen through the eyes of one affected family.

YEP, HANS IS GONNA MAKE ME CRY AGAIN, I KNOW IT! OH WELL, IT'S ALWAYS WORTH IT WITH HIS BOOKS!

Off The Ice: Hat Trick 1 by Avon Gale & Piper Vaughn: Out Oct. 30th

Tristan Holt is nothing if not pragmatic. Despite a flourishing career as a defenseman for the Atlanta Venom, Tristan knows he can’t play hockey forever. One day he’ll retire—if an injury doesn’t force him to hang up his skates first. His backup plan? Finishing his business degree. But he doesn’t count on a very inappropriate attraction to his standoffish sociology professor, Sebastian Cruz.
Sebastian is on the bottom rung of the Sociology Department at Georgia State. He has his sights set on tenure, and he can’t afford to be distracted, especially not by a sexy student with a body straight out of Sebastian’s dreams. No matter how much Tristan tempts him, that’s one line Sebastian won’t cross. At least not until summer classes end. After that, everything is fair game.
But Sebastian lives loud and proud, and Tristan is terrified of being the first out player in the NHL. Neither of them can afford to risk their hearts when they can’t imagine a happily ever after. The problem is, unlike hockey, when it comes to love, there are no rules.

CURSED REVIEW!!

HELLO FRIENDS, I'M HERE WITH MY REVIEW OF THE FIRST BOOK IN THE NEW ALPHA'S WARLOCK SERIES, CURSED: BY: KRIS SAWYER (SID LOVE WRITING AS)AND I CAN'T WAIT TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT, SO LET'S CARRY ON!

LOVE THIS QUOTE FOR THIS BOOK!

Cursed
Alpha's Warlock 1
by Kris Sawyer
reviewed by: Becky

Clyde Barrington is a werewolf with a curse on his head. Every night, he shifts from human to wolf and lives the life of a lonely predator, never fully accepted by his pack. When he saves a handsome stranger from a fire, everything changes.

In a world divided by the ancient feud between werewolves and warlocks, Clyde and Terry must learn to trust each other. When wolves start to disappear, their bond is tested by the fear of a pack now balanced on the edge of destruction.

Amidst a web of lies, deceits and betrayals, Clyde must decide where his loyalties lie, and choose between a forbidden love and the ties that bind him to his brothers. Is Terry an enemy to the pack, or the savior that will lead them out of the darkness?

Let me start by saying I have always loved this authors work, pen name or not, and I really liked this book also. Cursed is a good start in a new series, and you never know there could be some spin offs, there is certainly potential in a few characters to make that happen :P!

Clyde is cursed, and he feels like he will never belong, then one fateful night he meets Terry and his life will never be the same, can these two men make something of their fiery attraction to each other, or perhaps they are just too different. You will enjoy seeing where this story goes!

I really liked Cursed and I can't wait until Nov. when Clyde and Terry resume their story in Resurrected!

the 4 fly fishing rod rating :P

FOOL OF MAIN BEACH REVIEW!!

HEY GUYS! BELOW IS MY REVIEW OF FOOL OF MAIN BEACH, A LOVE IN LAGUNA NOVEL BY TARA LAIN! I LOVE THIS SERIES, AND THIS BOOK IS THE PERFECT ADDITION! LET'S TAKE A LOOK!

BOY DOES THIS QUOTE APPLY! HERE IS MY REVIEW!

Fool Of Main Beach
Love in Laguna
by: Tara Lain
reviewed by: Becky

Merle Justice wants to reach for the stars, but it’s tough to get respect when playing a teenybopper vampire on TV. Then he meets a famous director anxious to give him all he thinks he wants—and maybe a bit more. Everything’s looking up until a life-threatening encounter with some homophobes on Main Beach puts Merle face-to-face with a Sasquatch-sized hero in a pink puffer coat.
Tom Henry defies description. As unsophisticated and simple as an angel, he walks through life content with who he is and asking for very little except to care for his sister, Lily, and the dogs he loves. Then he meets Merle, the embodiment of dreams he barely knows he has. Merle knows the people who hold his future in their hands might love Tom—but they’ll never understand Merle and Tom together. Tom knows it too. With lives this far apart, who’s really the fool of Main Beach?

I love the Love In Laguna series and this book is a very refreshing addition to it! Tom and Merle are the perfect opposites attract couple!

Merle is widely known for his role on a popular TV show, but he longs to do something more, when he gets the chance he just so happens to meet someone who he never thought he would be attracted to, someone that saves him. Is it just gratitude Merle feels, or more?

Tom lives life simply, and he loves life and loves his dogs, his family doesn't have anything to with him other than his sister, who asks him for money. He doesn't let that get him down though, he loves his job, his friends and his dogs and he doesn't need much else, or so he thinks!

When Tom stops an attack on Merle he is attracted, will a chance second meeting bring them together as more than friends? Can Tom compare with Merle's famous friends? Will these two explore their feelings, or will Merle's success take center stage no matter what these two need?

I was instantly in love with Tom, and I loved catching up with the guys from this series, and I know you will too, so I encourage you to grab Fool Of Main Beach, you will be itching for the next book just like me!

                                              the five Mist rating :P

HAHA YES I HAD TO DO THIS RATING! I DO LOVE SWEET MIST! YOU SHOULD MEET HER! GRAB THE BOOK BELOW SO YOU CAN!

BEC'S REVIEW:

THIS QUOTE IS FOR KYLE! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

I can't tell you how excited I am that this is Kyle's book, and we see a ton of Ryan and Mango, which is a win win if you ask me! Susan knocked it out of the park with this one!

Kyle has trust issues that stem from a horrible time in his past, and they continue to affect his life, can he get past his issues and open his heart to what may be his one true love? Or will he close his heart and miss the chance of a lifetime?

Eric lost his lover in a traumatic way and being a paramedic just reminds him of that daily, he is getting burned out and just going through the motions, then he meets Kyle.

Can Eric break through the barriers Kyle put up, and if he does he may just find happiness in the process! This book is amazing, just like I knew it would be, be sure to grab it up today!

Eric sat back, legs akimbo, beer in hand and regarded Kyle lazily. “So, Ryan and Mango were getting it on when you walked in on them then?”

Kyle laughed. “Yep. Ry was delivering what looked like one helluva blow job and Mango looked as if he wanted to deck me for interrupting.”

Both men chuckled and took a sip of their drinks. Kyle looked at Eric questioningly. “So, tell me if I’m over stepping the mark. You and Ryan tried dating but it didn’t work out? What happened?”

Eric shrugged, his long fingers wrapped around his beer bottle as he gestured toward Kyle. “Oh, you know. We thought there were sparks, but there weren’t, and it turned out we were better off as friends. Ryan hadn’t got over Mango, and, frankly, I thought it was a matter of time until they found their way back together.” He grinned. “I’m glad I was right. Those guys deserve each other.”

Kyle raised his bottle in a salute. “Amen to that.” He couldn’t help noticing the line of Eric’s throat as he drank. There was a certain spot—just there—that begged to be licked. Kyle saw himself leaning over the table and dragging his tongue up the stubbled throat, then finding Eric’s plump lips in a kiss that—

Earth to Kyle.” Eric regarded him with amusement. “Do I have something on my face?”

The warm flush that suffused Kyle wrapped around his body. “Erm, no, sorry. I was thinking of something else.”

Eric raised an eyebrow, which Kyle found mouth-wateringly sexy. “Anything I should know about? I almost felt like you were getting ready to serve me up with a slice of lemon and eat me.”

Kyle couldn’t resist it. “I’d love to eat you,” he murmured. “It’s one of my favourite things to do.”

Eric’s eyes widened and the look of lust that overtook his face left Kyle breathless.

Oh yeah?” Eric shifted in his seat. “We’ll have to try that one night. Now that you’ve offered, you can’t take it back.” He grinned and settled back in his chair. “I’m sure I could return the favour.” His gaze smouldered as he stared into Kyle’s eyes.

Kyle’s arse clenched at the thought of Eric’s tongue licking his hole, getting deep inside him. His cock was enjoying the idea too.

They were interrupted by their waitress, which probably was just as well. Kyle was sporting a hard-on that threatened to blow. She plunked down their plates of chips, asked if they wanted anything else, barely waited for their head shakes, then left.

Kyle lathered his in brown sauce ignoring Eric’s grimace, then popped a hot chip in his mouth and gave a deep groan. “Oh, that tastes good.” He licked the sauce off his fingers, while watching Eric’s face.

Eric shook his head, and gave a soft laugh. “I see what you’re trying to do,” he muttered. “God, you are such a tease.”

Kyle smirked. “Well, thank you, kind sir. I do try.”

BEC'S REVIEW!!

THAT QUOTE IS FOR EMORY FOR SURE! HERE IS MY REVIEW!

The problem that I am gonna have with reviewing this book is knowing when to stop gushing about it! This is my fave of the series so far hands down!

Emory is still reeling from the sudden death of his husband years later, and when he finds himself instantly and powerfully attracted to Jonathan Silver the first time they meet, and he runs. Can Emory embrace his feelings or will he continue to live in the past, despite some very good advice from someone unexpected?

Jonathan has never had feelings like this, if Emory is the one will they be able to enjoy their life together, or does life have other plans?

This book gives you so much, including a look at some new characters you just have to know more about (about that Aimee, I have ideas :P), and old friends you will be happy to see again! I highly recommend this one, you will be as enamored as I am with it for sure!

                                               the 5 kiss cam rating :P ( i have my reasons :D)

EXCERPT
I looked around the crowd hoping to see a welcoming face. All I saw was curiosity from the guests who hadn’t met me on prior occasions and surprise from the ones who had. Then my gaze locked on a pair of particularly green eyes that looked irate that I had showed up. My first thought was, why the hell does Emory look so angry? Unfortunately, I blurted out my next thought. “What the hell did you do to your beautiful hair?” And what was with the designer beard he’d grown? No wonder I didn’t recognize him until his eyes met mine. I wanted the old Emory back. I needed—not wanted—to run my fingers through his hair, tangle my fists in it while he sucked my dick.

Emory narrowed his eyes, sat straighter in his chair, and lifted his chin proudly. “Josh cut it for me.” He ran his hand over the shorn locks and smiled smugly. Well, he’ll just have to grow it back out.

I pinned the hair stylist with my meanest look. How dare he? Was he getting back at me for flirting with Gabe? Don’t be ridiculous, dumbass.

Josh didn’t look one bit intimidated by me. “Hey, I do what my clients ask. Emory wanted the Bieber special, and that’s what he got,” he announced. I had no idea what the fuck a Bieber special was, but I didn’t like it.

“Not that it’s your business,” Emory said icily.

I made a beeline for Emory, ignoring his standoffish tone and demeanor. I sat in the vacant seat beside the man and kept staring at him until he couldn’t ignore me any longer. “What?”

“It makes your eyes look even bigger and greener,” I told him.

“I don’t have to sit here and listen to this,” Emory replied as if I’d just insulted him. He jumped to his feet and practically stomped across the yard in the direction of his house. Although I couldn’t say why I did it, I jumped up and followed him.

“What’s your problem?” I demanded to know. I had never done anything to him to deserve such blatant animosity from him. Sure, my question about his hair was rude, but then I followed it up with a nice compliment. Emory didn’t reply; he walked faster, and so did I.

He turned around when we reached the steps at his back door. “Leave me alone, Jonathon,” Emory whispered in a voice thickened by tears.

I wanted to walk away from him and just forget I had ever met him, but I knew that wasn’t going to happen. “I don’t think I can, Emory.”

YANNI'S STORY: GUEST REVIEWED BY AMY!!

HEY FRIENDS! I AM SO EXCITED TO BE HERE WITH MY GIRL AMY'S REVIEW OF YANNI'S STORY, THE LATEST BOOK IN THE SPENCER COHEN SERIES BY N.R. WALKER! I READ THIS SERIES ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF AMY, AND BOY WAS SHE RIGHT, THESE BOOKS ARE AMAZING! YANNI'S STORY WILL BRING YOU TO YOUR KNEES THEN MAKE YOU FLY! LET'S SEE WHAT AMY HAS TO SAY!!

I LOVE THIS QUOTE! HERE IS AMY'S REVIEW:

Yanni's Story
The Spencer Cohen Series
N.R. Walker
reviewed by: Amy

When Yanni Tomaras is kicked out of his family home, his parents’ final words are religious insults and an order to never return. Homeless and desperate, he’s lured in by Lance—charming on the outside, an evil predator underneath—who abuses Yanni until he finds the courage to leave.

Yanni should feel free. But by the time Spencer Cohen finds him, he’s resigned to being handed back to Lance and once again being caged by fear.

Starting school and a part-time job, Yanni begins to reclaim his life. But a love for silent films leads him to Peter Hannikov, a man with a kind heart but who’s twice his age. An unlikely friendship between them blooms into so much more. Neither man knows what he wants, at first. Finding out exactly what he needs is Yanni’s story.

“I’d spent years as a bird, caged with my wings clipped, tormented and beaten.
I thought I’d escaped when I’d left my abuser, but in hindsight, I could see that I was still caged, this time by fear and self-doubt.

Spencer and Andrew, and Andrew’s parents, opened the door to the cage that confined me.
But it was Peter who taught me how to fly.”

I loved the Spencer Cohen series so much and was thrilled when I heard NR Walker was going to write Yanni's story,  I'm sure all of us wanted to see Yanni get his HEA! Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed, this book was fantastic!!!!

Yanni was homeless, living on the streets until one man took him in and gave him a home, clothes, hot water and a warm bed.   Things were better now, it had been rough since his parents threw him out and he was left with nothing.  But Lance wasn't all about love and happiness, he wanted control over Yanni, he beat him, had strict rules for him and consequences.  The last beating had been his breaking point and Yanni left with only his backpack and the clothes he brought with him.  Spencer Cohen found him and helped save his life.

Peter had been in a relationship but something wasn't right.  Hiring Spencer to find out what his boyfriend had been up to may have confirmed him cheating but this also led to meeting Yanni.  Their love of Charlie Chaplin movies brought them together as friends and over the weeks and months they slowly let their friendship turn into more.

Peter is there for Yanni through the good and the bad, friendship turns to love.  This amazing journey for Yanni to become stronger, to learn how to be him again, to learn how to trust and to find a family that loves him for who he is.   Peter is his home, the home of his heart!

“He was my safety, the cage in which I was safe to fly".

I am so thankful to read this ARC, you have to read this book!!!   So many feels!!!   I would give this book many, many stars, or 5 rainbow hearts, because out of the darkness comes the light, the love and a rainbow of color!

CALM: EARLY RELEASE DAY REVIEW!!

HEY THERE FRIENDS, I AM HERE TODAY WITH MY EARLY RELEASE DAY REVIEW OF CALM, BY: K. EVAN COLES & BRIGHAM VAUGHN! I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE MY REVIEW OF THE SECOND PART OF RILEY AND CARTER'S STORY: LET'S TAKE A LOOK!

I LOVE THIS QUOTE FOR THIS STORY, YOU WILL HAVE TO READ THE BOOK TO SEE HOW IT FITS! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

Calm
by: K. Evan Coles & Brigham Vaughn
reviewed by: Becky

A love worth the wait.
When Riley Porter-Wright comes out as bisexual and confesses his feelings for Carter Hamilton, it severs their friendship. Carter’s rejection forces Riley to move on and he’s shocked to learn Carter’s marriage has fallen apart.
Overwhelmed by his failure as a husband and father, Carter misses Riley, but feels guilty for disappearing after Riley’s coming out. After Riley extends an olive branch, the former friends agree to repair their relationship. Slowly, Carter pieces together a new life, admits his attraction to men and confesses his feelings for Riley.
Leery of Carter’s initial rejection, Riley turns his focus to a new man, Will Martin.
Disappointed, Carter fosters new friendships with men like Jesse Murtagh and Kyle McKee, while also navigating new waters with his ex-wife, Kate, as their children learn their parents are dating other people.
As they rebuild their friendship, both Carter and Riley draw strength from each other, hoping the choices they’ve made are for the best.
Reader Advisory: This book contains expressions of homophobia by multiple secondary characters, divorce, references to parental neglect, disownment, references to adultery and m/m/f threesomes.
Publisher's Note: Wake, the prequel to Calm, is available to order and download now.
General Release Date: 12th September 2017

I was so excited to read part 2 of Riley and Carter's story, part 1 left me climbing the walls wanting to know how these two would reconnect, but have no fear, this story is amazing and you will love it as much as I do!

Riley and Carter were meant for each other, too bad that it took Carter a while to see it. Once he ends his marriage and irons out his life will it be too late? Riley is seeing Will, is this a relationship that will last? What will Carter do if he has lost Riley forever?

Carter has new friendships, and I for one am so happy with the way these were written and explored, and the way he and his ex handle their separation and the way they let their children know and adjust.

I am so in love with this book, and I am so happy that it leaves no stone unturned for Riley and Carter! There is a budding story for one of Carter's friends though, as far as I'm concerned! I hope we will hear more about Jesse in the near future (hint hint :P)!

the 5 animal cracker rating :)
